Jumpin' Java & Klatch Roasting Team Up To Help Extreme Makeover Home Edition!

We were so excited to be chosen to serve the cast and crew of the Exteme Makeover Home Edition when they filmed an episode in Phelan to help the Almquist Family. It was a very exciting week!

 

Joel and Chemaine Almquist and their family run the Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Phelan which provides a loving and safe home for abused and neglected exotic animals. Some of their residents include tigers, sulcata tortoises, parrots, alligators, servals, Mexican beaded lizards, Siberian lynx and an Egyptian cobra.

 

And while the animals have a safe home, the Almquists did not. They lived in a double wide trailer with no heat or air conditioning, leaking pipes and large gaping holes in the floors.

 

But that has all changed now, thanks to Ty Pennington and the cast and crew of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Now they have a beautiful home and new state of the art facilities for the animals.
